Our Vision and work

Deerghayu Foundation’s believes in its motto: Outreach > Innovate > Prevent Lifestyle Diseases.

The foundation reaches communities in inner cities and villages with innovative training methods where health care and knowledge about lifestyle diseases are often scarce. Since its inception in spring 2010, the foundation has reached more than 2000 people in south eastern Rajasthan.

Outreach: Organizing health camps

Deerghayu Foundation runs diabetes and hypertension detection camps at inner city areas, remote villages, workplaces, residential complexes and community centers. Some of the places where such screening camps have been organized in last 12 months are:
